The Improvement Program of Chaos Software GmbH (Chaos) is based on telemetry. The program helps Chaos to track general Product usage statistics and to automatically collect crash information. The type of information that is collected includes what Product functionality and/or parameter values people use most often, which helps Chaos to optimize and improve Product’s performance. There are two types of telemetry that you can choose to enable in Chaos’ Products, namely:
No scenes, assets, or materials are collected in either type of telemetry.
The collected data is stored until it is sent to Chaos.
The unsent data is stored in a compressed XML file, which can be found here:
The collected data can be inspected by un-archiving the file and opening it in any text editor.
You can permit Chaos to receive telemetry data by enabling Telemetry at the end of the product installation.
Telemetry Window at the end of installation
You can change your choice at any time after installation by opening the Chaos Account window from the Enscape toolbar. On the bottom of the window, you will find the options to check/uncheck the Telemetry options.
